Buckskin Wash

Navajo Co.

Map, Sitgreaves N. F., 1924

Dry wash, heading T. 11-1/2 N., R. 16 E.  Runs northwest into Black canyon at Heber.  After well known settler and cattleman, Lehi Howard, who built a cabin on this wash in the early Eighties.  He always dressed in buckskins.  A tall, picturesque man.  Always known as "Old Buckskin."
