Ben Nevis Mountain

Papago Ind. Res. In Quijotoa mountains. Near lat. 32°, 10'. Originally named Quijotoa. Papago word meaning "Carrying basket mountain." A Scotsman, Alexander McKay discovered a rich out-crop on this mountain and renamed it Ben Nevis for his homeland.
Another story is that S. A. Manlen gave it this name to honor McKay. Was the center of several lively mining booms.
