Also called Growler Well. In Papago, Tjuni-kaat, "where there is sahuaro fruit." About 20 miles north of Quitovaquito at southern end of Growler mountains. In T. 14 S., R. 6 W.
Hornaday says: "The Mexicans call it 'El Veit,' but for what or whom I don't know. It is commonly called the Growler Well after the nearby mountains."
